From customers:
- Name and phone number when joining a queue or making a booking
- Email address if provided for booking confirmations
- Service preferences and visit history
- Payment information for deposits (processed via Stripe)
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Floxt platform
- To send booking confirmations, queue notifications, and payment receipts via SMS and email
- To process payments securely through Stripe
- To track loyalty stamps and visit history for customers
- To send service updates and important account information
- To improve our platform and user experience
SMS Communications
By using Floxt, you consent to receive SMS messages for queue updates, booking confirmations, and payment reminders. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Floxt:
- Stripe — payment processing. Card details are never stored by Floxt.
- Twilio — SMS delivery for notifications
- Supabase — secure database hosting in Australia
- Vercel — website hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We only share data necessary to provide the service.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in Australia using Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including Row Level Security, encrypted connections, and regular security audits. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Barber shop owners can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting support@floxt.com.au. Customer queue and booking data is retained for up to 12 months.
